Circumcision
Circumcision is the removal of the tight foreskin (phimosis), which is usually performed under general or regional anesthesia. The excess foreskin is cut off and the edges stitched with sutures that subsequently dissolve.
Circumcision might have various health benefits. Circumcised males have easier hygiene, as it is simpler to wash the penis.
